This level of care is Second Nature, built for a better stay in Northern Ireland.
Your daily rituals and small routines matter, whether you’re visiting Belfast for a night or parking up for longer. Our range of facilities give you a level of independence that even luxury hotels overlook: everything you need, exactly where you need it.
Laundry
The shared laundry room is open 24 hours a day - no schedules, no service windows, no disruption to your city plans. Washing, ironing, and drying facilities will keep you fresh for your next visit into the centre of Belfast.
The Pantry
Skip a trip to the shops and avoid the waste that often comes when you’re on a short visit. Our pantry provides everyday essentials in sensible quantities, and a considered range of basics for a meal or two. It’s another Second Nature way of giving you more than a traditional hotel stay.
Second Nature gives you the space and service to shape your stay.
Our rooms in Belfast offer extra square footage for families to get into the swing of things, spend time together, and base themselves comfortably for whatever the day or nightlife holds.
If you’re travelling with a youngster, we can add a cot to your room, free of charge. Just request one when you book.
When you’re ready to explore the city’s history and culture, Belfast offers plenty to do as a family. The Botanic Gardens, the Ulster Museum, and the Grand Opera House are all within easy reach, as is Titanic Belfast and the wider Titanic Quarter.
Pets
We have plenty of room for your luggage, your life, and your dog’s chosen territory.
There’s no additional charge for staying with your pet - it’s part of how we like to host - just let us know when booking so we can prepare your room accordingly
Dogs: we welcome pets up to 35kg. If you’re travelling with another type of animal, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
In Winnie’s: dogs are welcome to join you. We just ask that they stay on the lead to keep the space calm for everyone.
Party animals: please supervise your pet, do your best to manage any noise, and show consideration to other guests.
Time together is the default at Second Nature.
It can happen around the table at Winnie’s, at the bar as the day moves into evening, or at one of our regular events (keep scrolling to see more).
If you have your own event in mind, our bookable spaces can give you a Belfast-central base for birthday celebrations, special dinners, or private workshops.
Yoga classes, supper clubs, cocktail bar nights, cinematic screenings… Whatever your plans, grand or otherwise, we have a versatile space for you. If you need food and drink, Winnie’s can serve up anything from light snacks to full-blown menus and meals.
Our events in Belfast
Live music, Belfast
The city’s sonic identity is a collision of traditional folk history, raw punk energy, and a progressive electronic underground. Our evenings reflect that with no formal program, just local musicians treating our space as their own.
